ANDAMIRO comes from ‘안다미로’, a Korean word of native origin. It literally means ‘to fill until it overflows’ and refers to a type of Korean hospitality where generosity and plentifulness is the ultimate form of care and nourishment.
The core of ANDAMIRO is its signature gukbap, your way. Gukbap translates to "soup rice" in Korean, a hearty Korean comfort food. Combining the depth of Korea’s culinary culture with the contemporary sensibility of a Chef trained in New York City's fine dining world.
Andamiro is defining this Korean tradition as a category in Brooklyn, New York City, for everyone. It honors the time good food itself requires: the hours a pot of broth takes to develop, the patience proper fermentation demands, the timing of the seasons.
Our Values
Honoring Time: Broth building and fermentation asks for hours of patience. We don't shortcut what time creates.
Authenticity: We start from the original form of Korean food. We don't reshape its essence under pressure from trends or marketing.
Restraint: We build trust through clarity rather than spectacle, through consistency rather than volume.
Andamiro aspires to become a Korean culinary lifestyle brand where a meal is a daily ritual, a source of nourishment as well as joy, and a moment of restoration.
